Not really a knife collector, but I ran into these two and had to buy them. I will be selling them soon, but I wanted to get more info on them. The seller got them from his dad's estate and had no info on them. He said a friend told him they were made by Ted Miller, a Cherokee knife maker who passed in 2008. They look comparable to his work I have seen online. Can someone give me more info? I want to price them fairly. They are hand carved antler handles inlaid with turquoise accents.

I hope you didn't get too enamored with them when you bought them. They are almost certainly Ted Miller knives, but unless they are signed somewhere they will be worth significantly less IMO.

I don't claim to be an expert on valuing his (or most maker's knives, with a few exceptions of those I collect regularly) knives, but a quick search of the web indicates to me that they are worth about $250 each, give or take $50-$75 and if they are not signed, it would be take, meaning less, IMO.

The workmanship is old school and frankly not up to modern standards. That doesn't make them a bad knife, just not a great one.
