The spydie sharpener works great. Make sure you scrub the ceramic after use with a cleanser like Comet when you are done. You can also put them in the dishwashher. They get clogged and will not perform well. The diamond rods are expensive but are great for reprofiling or getting a very dull blade back in shape quickly.
