Bill SovernsKnife kits?
Im currently stocking a .270 for my wife and I have quite a bit of extra wood from the blank left. I would like to use the wood to make a handle for a hunting knife. What kits are available? All I want to do is cut the two pieces of wood attache them to the handle and file everything smooth. Im not up for grinding the shape of the blade.

meteIf you mean the Delta 5 made of AUS-8 ? That's a decent steel I've used the Cold Steel Master Hunter stainless with that steel ,It's quite good. If your careful you can do the job.If you want something more durable you might consider stabilizing the wood ,then you wouldn't have to finish it .
