JiriJeffery: There are some custom or semicustom knives in that steel, for example :
http://www.fehrmanknives.com/http://www.hossom.com/S60 or 440V (the same steel) is not as tough and is good for smaller blades only . . .

Thank you very much.
I like the knives by Fahrman. They look very nice.
I also like the knives by Mercworx.
http://www.mercworx.com/knives.htmlDo you know them ? They are all in 154CM How is that steel compared to the CPM-3V ?

JiriYes, I know Mercworx, they are aviable also in S30V steel, one of the best stainless knife steel today. What I know 3V has similar edge retention as S30V, but is more than two times tougher. If you want stainless, can't go wrong with MercWorx if you like that design . . . 154CM is american ATS/34, but japan ats 34 is PM (powder metalurgy), but 154cm is vacuum melted "only". It is pretty good steel for medium quality knife in todays highest standards I think.

JefferyDenmarkAll the knives that I have seen in the SV60 or 440V is Small Pussy knives. I want large knives not tooth picks

440c is good enough for me if it is for fighting

The only real cool knife I have seen in CPM-3V is the "Nkonka CPM-3V Integral" Special Edition Tactical by Chris Reeve.
