I am just curious, What is so magical about the Tracker design, I am not trying to be a Jerk but I am wondering what the design offers over a traditional style knife? Is there an instruction manual that comes with it that elaborates on the advantages of the design?
Is anybody in the armed forces carrying a Tracker knife? Steve

Yes there is a manual that comes with the knife. Tom Brown a specialist in survival and Tracking designed the knife. Red all the info in this thread and you will know more then most!
The TOPS design is a little on the heavy side IMO.
Most soldiers carry a Ka-bar, Gerber or some other cheep knife. Some carry more expensive knives like Strider, Busse combat knives, Mad Dog knives, and other fine chunks of metal.

This thread was to inform about Tom Brown and the WSK knife a.k.a. Tracker knife he made.

Cheers,

André

Nice knives, all. Too bad Tom Brown looks so much like Jane Fonda's ex-husband. He could double Turner in a movie.

I feel the original desing of of Tom Brown is even better than the tops knives what you say Andre.

The Original design by Dave Beck is the best IMO.
The TOPS is to heavy and the handle to thick.

Cheers,

André
