I am the WORST knife-sharpener in the world. When I was a teenager, I used to take all my knives to a friends house for him to sharpe. He would stand at the sink and sharpen them on a double-sided stone. You shave your arm hair with them.

I must not be able to hold the angle consistent enough by hand. I have the Gatco system and can do a fair edge with it.

Is there any easy way out?? Are the electric sharpeners any good. I guess I am just lazy, but I really do not enjoy sharpening knives.
