Finally got some good photos of a knife I just finished for a friend who is an African PH
Blade:W2 high carbon steel
Handle: AAA Grade Ambonya Burl
Fittings:Stacked Nickle Silver
Sheaths: Hand sewn Inlayed Zebra Hide
Due to cites treaty Peg and I were afraid of flying in and out of country so I made a Tiger striped working sheath I threw in. Both are High ride carry pouch style. I was going to a 1900`s turn of the century safari antique sort of look with the inlaid Zebra and still be very functional..

Thanks, Yes everything you see I created. All hand done including the stitching. Tiger striping is done with a method of dye Im developing.
I agree Ambonya is a very very nice wood.

Were I a bit younger and not now selling most of my "stuff" I'd be on your order list. Beautiful work.

Nice to hear that it is being put to good use.

After all, that is what it was designed for. beer

I agree John, I often here "Its to nice to use" which is nice on one hand but on the other hand I go to great lengths to use material and design to take on hard use and still look nice.
