Slaughterville Knives
Happened to be wanderin' around in Oklahoma a few weeks back meeting a few Oklahoma knife-makers and getting ready for a hunt.

Had the opportunity to hook up with Dale Atkerson AKA Slaughterville knives.

Seems Dale always has a few of his knives with him. Being the slut I am (I have 3 other of his blades) I could not resist.

Brought this one back to Tejas with me.

Just spent a good part of a week bustin' bunnies, decimating doves and perforating porkers.

Got a pretty decent boar...

so I figured what the hey', I'd give it a try

Olive Drab Canvas Micarta, D2 steel, (a fave), mustard liners, hollow grind, a tapered tang,

plus handle and blade design that really grows on a fellow.

It's a pleasure to use a sharp knife.

as it makes short work of chores........

and lets a fellow get back to what he does best....

Geedubya,

Glad to see you posting again. I am with ZekeShikar on your ability to take photos. You have certainly made me think about my own photos and I am envious!

I heard this sometime this week, possibly on the radio, and it describes my own abilities, "I am to photography what Adolph Hitler was to World Peace".

That's another nice knife. Not sure on the brew. You gonna pickle those feet for later?
