630-20.0 gr. @2124fps, max 28.0 gr. @2623 fps.
SR-4759-24.0 gr.@2171 fps, max 32.0 gr. @ 2652 fps
IMR-4198-25.0 gr @2125 fps, max 38.0 gr. @2845 fps
all loads with CCI 200 primers

I am looking for a low velocity load for a .25-06 using 100 gr NBT. My son weighs 75 pounds and I want to load down to avoid the recoil. Any favorites?

Trenton, I dont load for that one and dont have any personal info, but if I was looking for reduced loads I would start with a Lyman cast bullet laoding manual. I have had one for years...use it a lot with cast bullets, and I think the data could be substituted for jacketed bullets, only pressures will be higher as the jackets will drag more than lead. So load down and work up...BTW, I am at work and dont have the info with me or I would give you specific load info. Hope this helps.

If you have not gotten anything from Eterry, Speers 13th Manual and also IMR's handbook list some loads.

Work with starting at 20 grains of IMR SR 4759 and work up to about 25 grains or so. I think the max limit is about 30 grains in that size of case.

I would look at targeting a 25 grain load with a Nosler 115 grain ballistic tip, as a potential best all around.
