cal30 1906That is a good one.
I pushed mine with the following
200 grain Nosler partition
75.0 grains of RL-22
CCI#250 primer.
2892 fps avg 24" barrel
or
190 grain Hornady boatail
77.0 of IMR 7828
CCI#250 primer
2975 fps avg 26" barrel
The .300 Winchester really shines when you shoot
200 grainers!
Leave the 180-s for the .3006'
and leave the 150-s for the .308 win.

HonkeyI agree whole hearted, my fav load for 30-06 is with either 180 partitions or 180 Barnes X

308SakoBoth accurate and powerful, the 180 grain BT with 78 grs of IMR 7828 or the 200 gr partition with 76 grs of the same work splendidly for our tribe. All get lit up with F215's and the brass is usually Winchester by origin. Legth is based on the individual rifles throating.
