you take a 460wby primed with a215 fed primer stoke with 130 grains of varget top with a 300 grain hornady hollow point intended for a 45-70 crimp heavly. then to test take a milk jug full of water with a peice of ply board behind and detionate at 40 yds try then to find a hole in the wood.

I have also used this bullet in a .460. Haven't had a chance to shoot a milk jug yet, but did shoot a very small tree. Took out most of the trunk and shook down a lot of the leaves; I was surprised it was still standing. Razzer

yes we have and got around 3300fps i say around give or take 50fps it was not as constant as i like.

I've done that too.

The .460 Wby. is a sadly overlooked varmint cartridge. Wink

Man, you guys are sick! I have never shot a ground squirrel with anything bigger than a .378 Weatherby with 300 grain bullets.

I dont know about a ground squirrel but a coon I can tell you about caint find any of the parts just a gooy spot.
