270WSM
Well I'm having great results with70.7grs of H1000 and Nosler 140 Accubonds,MAX loads also with Max loads 110 V-Max in front of 69grs ofRe#19 Best part is they both shoot same point of impact at 100yds.So thats a keeper. Now I'm Going to start loading Sierra 135 HPBTs I want to push the 3300FPS envelope.Oh I had this rifle up for sale, not now I shot those two loads a couple of weeks ago and they both shot well under 1/2MOA out of an accurized MOD 70.I was so pleased.Anybody else out there have any sucsess stories please givem up!!! < !--color--> or come out with your hands up!!!!!

I finished a custom rifle, McMillan stock, 27" Christensen/Krieger barrel, M70 CRF action that thrives on 140gr AccuBond, Fed 210M, and 66gr of Reloder 22 resulting in 3,312fps, 9fps SD and aggregate average so far of .435" 5/100 with a 2.5X8 VXIII. I am getting to like the 270WSM!!

Cold Windy California Day.Really happy about past experence with my 270WSM.So I bought some Sierra 135HPBT loaded them to touch the Lands.Shot 5 rnds of three powder's.IMR 4350 H4831SC H1000. 4350 out of 5 two flyers still with in an inch but three shots were less than a 1/4.next 5 rnds of H1000 1 1/2 group no good.Third H4831 Out of 5 rnds one flyer still over all 3/4 group but subtract that one flyer and its less than 1/4"at 100yds.I'm thrilled, flyer's could be shooter error or wind.At first this rifle best were 1 1/2 then sent the rifle to a competant gunsmithto be Accurized. There was only a marginal inprovement.after another 30 rnds everything changed for the "Much Better"Now its a real tack driver.Definetly not for sale now. < !--color-->

You may want to try IMR 4831(62 grs) win primer(wlrm) and the 135.HPBT.This shoots great in my browning.

Ironworker, try something for me to see if the flyers go away. Try seating another .001" to .002" off the lands and see if this does it. I have seen this help when getting flyers just as you describe, let me know, Tim. BTW, after reading your post, I have loaded up the same round with your load to try. You didn`t mention seating depth for the earlier post, and I am trying .015" off the lands.

I don't know if anyone else has tried the lightweight bullets in their .270wsm, but I have loaded up some Sierra and Speer 90 gr hollowpoints with varget, IMR-4895 and Reloder 19 to see what they do. My first efforts with Varget weren't too bad, around inch and a quarter for 5 shot groups at 100 yards. Not bad for a stubby Sierra 90 gr hollow point from a cheap Super Shadow from walmart. Anyone else try any?

Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

I played with the 110 v-max last summer in my browning the R-19 shot the best. The H4350 didn't do too bad either.

Just the stuff I was looking for guys. thanks alot!

I had my T3 in 270WSM out for its very first session today and despite the horrible windy, foggy, and rainy conditions, the 4 loads I tested shot decent with nothing getting over 1.5".

The two powders I tried were IMR 4350 and Rl 19 and the bullet was a 140 gr. Nosler BT. It seemed to like 60.5 of IMR 4350 the best but I'm far from done experimenting with this bullet.

If I can get the results you guys are getting with the 140 gr. Accubond, and I'm pretty sure I will with this rifle, that will be my hunting load for almost everything up here in B.C.
