Browning A-bolt 300 wsm loads?
I have the above rifle. I love my Speer 180gr sptz and would like to find a good powder and load for this thing. I tried h4350, but didnt have as good of luck as I wanted. It is still pretty new, and the brass was new, so I think those could have contributed to the fair accuracy. Any loads out there (180, 200, different bullets even)?

Try 67grs. RE22 with your 180 Speer, this is one of the best if not the best powder for the 300WSM, That's easily available anyway, Another would be N540 or RE19, hard to find N540 though, Jay

mramsay10, I'm sorry, but I meant to say 67grs. of RE22, if you have the 64grs. loaded already you can always use them for a reduced recoil load or as a starting point, 69 is the max for the 180, sorry, Jay

Sadly, I went out today and shot, and my loads were not grouping at all. Finally, when I was thinking it was the shooter I took out a box of Win 180gr Power points. The store bought ammo gave me a beautiful group (<1" @100yds). I was, and still am, sick [Smile]

Play with seating depth... I run most loads .030" off the lands. Also check the concentricity of your loads... roll them across a flat surface. If you can visibly detect any wobble your dies are seating the bullets out of line... a new set of dies will be in order. I will say no 30 cal rifle I've owned would group 180 Speers. Hornady180 SPFB's and 180 Nosler Partition's go into moa groups. H4350 has worked the best in the two 300 WSM's I've worked with.
