KitaruSapienRuger New Model .45LC
Normally, my Ruger New Model Blackhawk 4 5/8" .45LC carries 300gr Hornady XTP's running on 22gr of H110.......I have absolutely no problem with recoil at this level, and would like to know if there is a better powder for my stubby Ruger and her 300gr bullets. I use my Ruger for quick draw defense, mostly in hunting circumstances.
THANKS!!!

tnekkccThe only thing often better [or even close ] than H110/W296 is LIL'GUN.
It does not smell as good as H110 when it burns, but it can deliver even more power while keeping the pressure low.
But for 44 mag 300 gr, it looks like H110 is still the best:

KitaruSapienOh, yea........"Lil' Gun"
I like the specs on that stuff, I don't give a poo-doo how it smells
Looks like I'll be loadin' up again! Must be careful, tho.......
