I worked up loads for a friend's Remington Sendero in.338 RUM a while back and a couple of loads really stood out as exceptional.

The first consisted of a Remington case, Fed 215 primer, 93.5 grains of RL 22, and a Nosler 200 grain BT loaded to an OAL of 3.62". Velocity was 3260 fps and groups were averaging 0.65 inches.

The second was a Remington case, Fed 215 primer, 96 grains of RL 25 , and a Nosler 225 grain Accubond, loaded to an OAL of 3.62". Velocity was 3160 fps and several groups as small as 0.37 inches were fired.

This was the first rifle I had tried the 225 Accubond in with any success. Trials in several .338 Win Mag and .340 Wby Mag rifles were quite dissapointing. However, this .338 RUM just loved that bullet.

Hope this helps, R F

91 grains of Reloader 25, 250 grain Partition, Rem case and Federal large magnum primer. Very accurate in both of my 338 RUMs.

Note, some lots of Reloader 25 are slow enough that you can go as high as 93 grains. So start low and work up to max.
