Anyone shot both 243 95 grainn Balistic Silvetips and 25/06 85 grain Silvertips with the same powder? Leaning on starting with one of the 4831's or RL-19. If anybody has an accurate load for either of these combinations I'd like to know what it is.

Hi: R19 was the most accurate in my .243, and
H4831 was the best in my .25-06. I don't
remember how much in each, as I don't use
these anymore & don't have records other
than remembering which powders proved best
as stated above.

Try IMR-4350 in both.

You will not find a faster powder for these two than Accurate Arms 'Magpro.' I don't shoot .243 but it was my salvation for 85 grains in my 25-06. You should try it, you'll like it.

Dave: I use H4831sc for the 243 85 gr sierra spire points and the HPBT's 45grs 9 1/2rem mag primers. shoots 1/2" groups for me.
same poweder 57.2 grs. with a standard primer 87gr bullet for 25/06
Reduce the loads a couple grains and work up
