I can't take credit for coming up with this -- I got the idea from an article by Jim Taylor I found at sixgunner.com10 grains of unique behind a spent 45 ACP case gives about 1075 fps, and makes a great plinking load. They shoot surprisingly well at short ranges, and recoil is practically non-existant.
