Any one have a good load for this old warhorse? Also, should I buy a small base sizing die for loads used in this rifle?

you don't need small base dies. I use a LC 7.62mm case and 43grs of AA-2230C with a 147gr fmj. Also 44grs of N-202 with a 150gr Nosler.
