300 Weatherby Magnum
130 gr. GS HV Bullet
86.0 gr. H4831
Norma brass
Federal 215 primer
3.590" OAL
3292 fps in 24" barrel

Calif Hunter
180 gr Partition or Grand Slam
Rem. Cases
Fed LR Magnum Match primer
82.0 gr of IMR-7828

3/4 inch groups almost every time. My rifle has no freebore, so this load gives the same velocity as 85.0 gr of the same powder in my buddy's rifle.

How bout this one. 80 grains of H-4831 and the 180 grain Nosler Partition. I use Remington brass and 3 shots look like a clover leaf at 100 yds from a bench rest at the rifle range.
