Zero DriftTCS - You will generally find your best accuracy with near max loads and using the slow powders you mentioned for the 7mm Rem. I have had 6 different 7mm and all liked heavy for caliber bullets and a full load of 4831. I have not shot the 168gr Sierra since most all of my 7mm have been hunting rifles. I am partial to the Nosler 160gr Partition for use in the field. Sounds as if you are more interested in target punching.

BLR7 (Texas Cactus Shooter)Yes I am loading these up for paper punching and
to see how my Browning A-bolt likes the heavier
grain bullets. If all goes well I will try to
work up some 175gr hunting bullets later on. I
have already gotten good results with 140gr, 150gr., and 160gr. and I now want to test the
heavier bullets in 168 and 175gr. I've gotten sub MOA so far with everything I've loaded but the
tightest groups were with the 160gr and I like
everything I've read about these Sierra 168 HPBT.
I think I'll try IMR7828 first with a spread
of 64.5gr. - 68.0gr. in 0.5gr increments and see
what the grouping looks like since I can't seem
to find any R-22 these days. Well thanks anyway
for your input. Good shootin! BLR7

BLR7 (Texas Cactus Shooter)Thanks for the reply and I will post my results
here. I really liked the sleek look of these
bullets and I have read many good things about
their accuracy. I've set up 20 rounds so far with
IMR7828 from 64.0 - 66.0 grs. and CCI250 primers
and once fired win brass. I'll load up some also
in IMR4831 at 53.0 - 63.0 grs. There is a 300yd
range about 60 miles away that I like shootin at
but gas prices being what they are I will just
have to settle for 100yd range not far from home.
I'd be interested in other's results too!
Good shootin! BLR7!
