Scott King9.3x 62 250g loads
Thanks to the folks on this forum I have come up with the following:
Remington model 721, 9.3x 62
22" Douglas barrel
250g Barnes TSX and/ or Swift A frame
Laupa brass
59.5g Varget
Fed 210m primers
5 shot 1" groups all day. I've been to the range three times with this load in the last week, and every time it groups this well. Generally three are cloverleafing and two drift a little to get the inch measurement.
Many thanks to all those willing to share their knowledge.

GerryScott,
Sounds to me like you are sharing your 9.3x62 load knowledge with us. It appears like you've got a good combination working for you.
I can't really make any constructive remarks on the Barnes', A-Frames & Varget but I use 250 grain bullets in my 9.3x62; Noslers & Woodleighs and the much bashed Speer 270 grainers too. Never had an issue with accuracy (or terminal performance) - similar to what you've related and that with several powders; IMR-4320, IMR-4350, H-4350, H-4895 & VV N140.
Haven't put any of mine over a Chrony (I will if I get the opportunity) but the many expired animals apparently haven't noticed yet.....and that with a 20" tube.
If your combination shoots as good as @ 1" day-in; day-out and is deadly, I wouldn't get too wrapped up in all the glossy coating. Sure it's great to know loads intimately and attempt to tweak the best out of it but the 9.3x62 has earned it's reputation in the game fields for the last 100+ years at @ 2300+ fps and quite frankly; that's where it does it's best work.
Have fun with your 9.3x62.

Scott KingSorry, I don't own a chrony, so I haven't been able to see how fast any of them are going.
I tried 60g of Varget, but was flattening the primers a little so I backed off half a grain and got good results.
There are several on here, (looks like your one of them Gerry,) that have shared good info on the 9.3 x62, and I guess the point of my original post was to confirm their good results and to say thanks much!
I'm really looking forward to using this rifle on something big next fall.

Scott KingThanks Rich,
It is a cute little rifle. I had a Timney trigger installed, a Sako extractor, and I bought and hung a Boyd's laminate stock. Neat package and as I mentioned, accurate.

Jimmy P CoaltrainWhat caliber was the Remington before you rebarreled it? I am wondering if a 30-06 bolt face on a push feed Winchester will work?

mstarlingJimmy,
The 30-06 boltface should work fine. 9,3x62 is a wonderful chambering!
