338-06 and Speer 225 BT?

Anyone got a good load for this combo? Thanks.

This is actually the only 225gr bullet that shoots out of mine, maybe it's the short bearing surface. Mine likes 52gr RL15 or 61gr RL19.

50 grains IMR 4064. 2500 fps.

Plenty of power. Can be souped up some more but why?

62 grains of H 380, 2775 to 2800 fps in 24 inch barrel in a Winchester Model 70.
