Cool. Thanks for the info.

Have you tried the new Weatherby (Norma?) factory fare, yet? I'm curious as to the velocities it'll give.

I don't shoot factory stuff anymore. I haven't seen anyone here with it on their selves either. Sorry

I have a 24" barrel on a Winchester action.I installed a Speedlock figing pin with Wolf Spring. I still need to have the trigger worked on, it makes a tick during trigger. squeeze.

I shoot a 338-06 Improved so reduce NO LESS than 10% for a starting load for the standard version.

55.5 Grains 4064 with 250 grain Hornaday RN.

yeilds 2600fps and 3752 fpe 23" barrel.

3/4 inch groups and no pressure signs with Win 30-06 brass and Win L/R primers. I think I'll increase in half grain increments to try for more but this loads swats the heck out of whitetail to 250-300 yds.

I've also reached over 3000fps with RL-15 and 210 Partitions, but we won't talk about that .

I'm going to try the Hawk and Speer Hotcore 250's next.

Good luck,

-Catter

Shoot the largest caliber you can shoot well, and practice , practice, practice.
