SnellstromVery nice!
Any idea on the speed of that load?
I'd guess about 2800 2850 or something.
My son shoots a Ruger M77 flat bolt in .284 Win. I've just started trying to find a decent 140 grain load for him and IMR 4350 isn't getting us the accuracy we want.

D HumbargerI don't have a chrony & with that long throat I don't if thats increasing or decreasing the velocity.
BTW those are Nosler ballistic tips.

SnellstromPlease post more results when you work up Reloader 17 loads.
Thanks

D HumbargerI ran that load across the chrony yesterday. These are the results. I am satisfied with this velocity. I was concerned that the long throat might have an adverse effect but apparently not. Although I do not have a "standard" throated 284 to compare the results with.
Temp 69 degrees F @ sealevel.
