Come on guys 300win info needed.
Come on fellas I have a Sako 300win on the way for long range target shooting. I have no exsperance with this cal. So give me some good accurate loads. I'm going for accuracey not so much speed.
Does anyone have a load that duplicates the military 300 win mag load. That would be great I intend to put a Springfeild Armory scope on this rifle, and that load would be great if some one has it.

190 Sierra MK with 81.9g H1000 bullet seated .010inch of lands very accurate in my rifle. Shoots 3inch 5 shot groups at 500 meters never tried it at any longer range.

1. Sierra Pro-Hunter 125gr. SP (#2120)
2. Remington Cases (processed to specs)
3. CCI 200 Primers
4. IMR 4350 @ 75.0 gr charge
5. C.O.L. @ 3.240

Velocity approx 3300 fps. Used to drop dog-sized deer here in Florida. Since I load this for a friend, I will have to get back to you on the particular Firearm & its details.

Final note: This formula is for the 300 Win Mag!

X-Ring,
The only two loads I need for the .300 Winchester:

Any 180 grain bullet you like...Nosler Ballistic Tip or Partition for me.
IMR 4350 71.0 grains
Fed215 primer
Winchester Brass
Velocity 2950 to 3000 fps
Accuracy 0.5 MOA

Barnes X-Bullet 140 grains
IMR 4350 74 grains
Fed215 primer
Remington Brass
Velocity 3300 fps
Accuracy 0.5 MOA

The 180 grainers for big stuff or long range.
The 140 X for coyotes and deer within 400 yards.
