KuduKingRem 700 Titanium .308 Win
Anyone with experience with this rifle? I just bought one and wasn't sure where to start with loads, other than the usuals. Also, curious as to your choice of scope and mounts. Thanks.

Alaska Bush ManCongad on your new rifle, as for scope mount Leupold Steel Bases and Matte Low Rings should be perfect for your rifle, I like the Leupold VXIII Matte scope in 2.5x8 also for your rifle.
As for loads the Federal Prem. Factory Load will be hard to beat, the 165 BTSP/BT or the 180 Grain Nosler Part for heavy game...either high eneregy load or standard should fill your bill nicely.

KuduKingThanks, Bush Man. I really like this rifle.
Fired about 60 rounds through it. My most accurate handload is a 150 grain Hornady BTSP and 47.0 grains of RL-15: 5 shots at 100 yards under 1/2 inch center-to-center. MV is 2880 fps at 45F and Alt 0100 ft.. Hornady and Sierra 180 boatails will do under 1 MOA at that distance, but POA is 6" above the 150 grainers!
The factory trigger was nice, but too heavy at 5.75 lbs. It can be adjusted down to a safe and reliable 3.5 lbs for hunting.
I put a Leupold 3-9x33 compact on it. The 2.5-8x is a tad brighter, but looks a bit goofy on the rifle and I wanted as light weight as possible. I'm not too happy with the Leupold reversible front base, but that is all they make in a 2-pc silver base.
The rifle shoots great offhand and from field positions, with the trigger at the more managable level. No creep, and minimal overtravel.
This is the kind of rifle remington should keep building. Not cheap, but not crap either. Now if they would just get rid of that J-Turd on the bolt and fix the safety so it locks the bolt down........

Jay GorskiKuduking, I've never had any problems with the Rem. safety doing what you say it's done, I do like the Win. safety, I think the 3 position is great and when on the second position allows for an easy takedown of the bolt for cleaning, unloading, and such. Jay

monteroI have only shot 4 of these rifles, 3 in .270 and 1 in 7-08.
Only one of the .270s showed acceptable accuracy.
The rest shot like bucksot on an i/c.
Out of curiosity.
