6.5 Rem. in BDL
I have just acquired a BDL 6.5 Rem. Magnum,to go along with my 6.5/06 and 6.5x55(I know,I know but I just couldn't pass up a mint rifle for 205$). Looking for pet loads for this combination to speed up load development, hunting season is almost here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I shot a 6.5 Remington Mag. Ruger #1. I gave it up when I made a 6.5x06 and found that it did as well or better than the magnum with less powder in most cases. I may have some loading data around some place. If you like I'll look around for it.

Congrats this is a great underated caliber that has taken a boat load of caribou for me.... I have a Rem 660 and an original Ruger

MOA Max Loads OAL 2.815 for Rem, 2.890 for Ruger/ Rem Brass, Win Primers

95 VMAX 59.0 RL 19 (660)
120 Sierra 57.0 RL19 (660)
120 Rem 57.0 RL 19 (Ruger)
125 Nosler 55.5 RL 19 (660)
129 Hornady 57.5 H4831 (Ruger)

Ruger prefers H414 with 95 grainers
RL 19 rocks, in this cartridge
100 grain bullets from Barnes/Hornady and Nosler shoot poorly in both rifles for some reason? The 120 Sierra is simply poison for broadside shots. Whap, and down they go.
