if you can find it, NORMA mrp really works well in this cartridge.mine has a 27" bbl. and goes 3'600+ with a 100gr. bullet.and accurate to boot.

nvtoyYou’re not getting 3,600 FPS with a hundred grain bullet at safe pressure with a 257 AI. Remember the Ackley case design masks pressure signs. That’s high 257 Wby. velocity.
