Has anyone developed a load for 30-06 using wc-852 powder.I was told to use H450.I tryed 53gr.with 168 gr.bthp hornady 30501.

<Paladin>Be careful: from what I have read, different lots of WC852 supposedly range all over the map in burning rates.
My particular trove is the treasured stuff which is identical to H-414, one of the powders which is a "target" accuracy powder for .30-06.
Good luck, but BE CAUTIOUS until you actually figure out what you have. Be sure to use a chronograph to help identify your lot.

TCLouisBe careful with powders touted as WC-852.
There are essentially two different batches on the market. I think most have settled on WC-852 and WC-852f or fast nomenclature to separate them.
Most recommendations for WC-852 say to use 4831 loading data.
For the WC-852F or fast use H380 data.
This disparity in burning rate will take out more than one gun before it is all over.
