50 grain sierra
20 imr 4198
Very accurate in my LSA
If you decide to use this load, start low, work up, double check the data, you assume all the risks, etc. This load may be unsafe in your gun and may cause it to blow up, causing injury or death.

artyMy most accurate load in my ex-m600 was;
50 grain sx
25 grains h-380

I was stupid to have traded that rifle!

bunnybasher23.5g of h322 over a 40g ballistic tip produces 0.5moa in my sporter weight tikka 595

Rem. 222Any 50-55gr bullet with 22grs of N133. Usually for good accuracy 22.5 grs N133 behind a 53gr. Sierra HP Match. Anywhere from the high ones to low threes, depends on how much coffee I drink before shooting.
Rem. 222

millsie67Have been testing a new load out lately (posted under my other question "h4198 or h322...")
Results so far are good with the H322.
Hornady 53gnHP #2250 (shot over 120goats with this bullet in three days - magic!)
22gn H322 - WinSR primers - Norma brass.
C.O.A.L 56mm
Nothing over 0.5moa. Most @0.4 -100yds Rifle - Sako .222 L461 20" barrel.
Sorry havent crony'd them yet.
Couldnt get H4198 to perform right. Found H322 more forgiving.

WyoharrisMy 788 shoots about any 50gr bullet well, as long as there is 20.5 gr IMR4198 and a benchrest primer behind it.

Ma BellThe rifle is one of the first Mod.700s chambered in .222 Rem.
It has the original factory barrel(24in.)and I have no idea how many thousands of rounds that have been run through it. I bought it in the late '60s used.
Load:
Remington brass with CCI450 primers
neck size only
25.0 gr. of H335
50gr. Sierra Blitz
Velocity is 3145fps. on a 10 shot string, with a standard deviation of 12.5fps.
With this load 10 shot groups run just under 3/4in. at 100yds.
What more could you ask after all these years,,,
