Remington 250gnPSP factory ammo(Whelen).

Have any of you bods used this round on elk?

My old man uses factory remington 180 grain PSPCL's in his 30-06. They are always recovered underneath the farside hide and retain 100% of their weight in a perfect mushroom. All are broadside lung shots. I would image that the 250 grainer you speek of would have no problem exiting.
