Mule SkinnerLoad data for Marlin 1895 in .45-70 needed
Looking for load information for the Marlin 1895 in .45-70. Specifically looking for bullet, powder, over all length, etc. I am looking for both plinking/practice and hunting loads. Thanks!

<Youper>I haven't loaded much for this cartridge, but I am pleased with the 405gr. Remington bullet and 54.0 gr. of H335 with WLR and CCI250 primers. It is accurate in my rifle, and worked well on a small black bear I got last fall.

Allen GloreI use the 405 grain LFN GC cast bullet from Beartooth Bullets over 56 grains of H322. Federal 210 primers and Federal Nickle plated brass. Very good load for hunting. My 45-70's never see jacketed bullets, so I can't help there.

50gr IMR 4198, CCI 200, RP cases, and 300gr Hornady HP. This shoots excellent from my Marlin 1895GS.
