With 57 grs of RL15 I get 2625 fps with a 250 gr Hornady from a 23" barrel.

56 grains of 4064 and a 225 Sierra. Moose, caribou and ptargiman don't leave their tracks.

I'm going to have to send you some cast bullets for shooting ptarmigan/spruce hens. A small dose of pistol powder, and you get a load that is quieter than a 22 rf, but accurate enough for 25 yd headshots.
