264-300 mag (aka 264 arnold)
Does anyone have any experience loading for this calibre? I would appreciate it if I could get some idea of start loads, etc.

Thx

I would assume that you could just go with 264 Win. Mag. data. It can't be much different. I used to use H450 and H4831 when I had a 264 Win. Mag. with good results. I know the slowest powder you can get is the best, and a long barrel is necessary to get the full potential of a cartridge like this. 26 inches I think is the minimum you would need.

check the reloading pages. They have data for the 257/300 win mag. That should give you some good ideas. I plan on building a 257/300 this weekend. If your interested I can let you know how it turns out with the data.

neckdown 300 Win Mag makecase with a too short neck bet is too go with 6.5/300 WEATHERBY ( max velocity in 6.5 mm ) long neck good case....
the 6.5/270 WEA is very good too and accurate at 1000 yards or run a 300 WIN case in a 264 Win full sizer to get a 264 WIN with alongneck .

264 Win have enought acapacity to drive 6.4/140 gr at very hight speed with better barrel life and accuracy than the 6.5/300 WIN MAG

good shooting
