Is anyone using RL10X powder
Is anyone using RL10X powder
in small case rifles. I was thinking of trying it in the 7mm BR. If I can find some.

Bill/OregonI've been wondering about using it in my .25-35. Wish Alliant published better data for their powders.

eurocentricIt does seem to be more dirty than most powders, takes me longer to clean my barrels.

Juggernaut76I shot next to a guy at a HP match last Sunday who was using it in his AR15 service rifle. He said he had not previously tested the loads and went on to shoot a respectable 660-16X/700.
Praise be to the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.

agr516I don't find this powder to foul any worse than others in my .204 but then again, my .204 seems to powder foul extensively with any powder. RL10x turned out to be the most accurate powder by far with 35gr Berger Hollow points.

MoorepowerThe only thing I have heard about it that is bad, is lot to lot variations. I have some but have yet to try it.

Doctor DI've been using it with 40 grain NBTs in my Savage Model 10 .223 PD vaporizer for a couple years now. 25 grains gets me 3,797 and one hole groups.
It throws +/- .1 with my Lyman #55 too.
My dad told me once that if you're gonna kill a rattler with a chainsaw, use the top of the bar.

Bwana_DaveI got some to use loading .45/70 as backup for when I can't get RL-7. Haven't used it yet. Doesn't seem to be a lot of cast bullet load data around for it.
Use a double rifle. It just feels better.
