130 gr. .308 Barnes TSX load?
Has anyone tried this bullet and found a good load? Have you tried it on game?

I have used it in a 300 Win on hogs, deer and one surplus cow elk neck-shot for game control.

The bullet performed flawlessly in all cases and I would not hesitate to hunt mediun game with it in a 308. I'd go heavier for serious elk hunting, though.

Thanks - I was looking at it just for mule deer. For elk, I would go heavier.

I think you'll be pleased.

I grabbed a box to try in my model 7. I'll use them for deer and bear when driving and going deep into the bush. I love the TSX bullets in all my other calibers so I'm expecting them to shoot well for me. Interested in some replys here too

I have just picked up a Remington 660 in excellent shape, and thought that the 130 gr's velocity advantage would help with the rifle's 20-inch barrel. I bought a box of 130 gr TSX bullets and will see how they shoot.
