Sarcoids
When the mules were in living amongst the son-in-law's disgusting cattle, they would get sarcoids on their face and ears.
They were typically pea diameter size and smaller and eventually would start bleeding after a few weeks of first appearing.
The suspicion is that the mule/horse gets infected by a bovine papilloma virus. Nothing in google searches told of any cure.
A non-scientific home remedy of applying toothpaste kept popping up in the discussion boards on sarcoids.
Desparate I tried Crest toothpaste, dabbing it on the sarcoids morning and night. It didn't work. I was using the cheap ass Crest toothpaste with SODIUM fluoride.
When I was a kid and Crest first hit the market it was made stannous fluoride. Somewhere along the line P&G went cheap no doubt as most companies do, and switched to sodium fluoride.
Nowadays, the newer and more expensive "professional" Crest toothpaste on the shelves again contain stannous fluoride.
So what the heck, I tried Crest with stannous fluoride. Morning and nigh, dabbed a bit on every sarcoid.
In one to two weeks the sarcoid would completely disappear. A miracle cure for sure.
Now that the mules don't live in cow crap anymore, sarcoids haven't reoccurred.
Deniers claim you can't cure cancer with toothpaste. But maybe you can.
I ain't kiddin'. It does work. But use STANNOUS fluoride toothpaste.

Grizzly AdamsSTANNOUS fluoride toothpaste.
Used that here before with good results, especially around sensitive areas like eyes. Wife helped out at a horse rescue place a few weeks ago. They had a horse there named Lumpy, cause of multiple sarcoids. Vet had tied a fist sized one off with an elastic. Boss lady there insisted on putting some caustic compound on it and the horse freaked. Sarcoid flew off in a shower of blood, at which the boss lady and her helper were the ones to freak.

Wife calmed them down, put a pressure bandage on it . no big deal and bleeding soon stopped.
