....... It is sad, but it seems that there is no way to justify the purchase of a new gun in that caliber.
I have no touble with an unusual caliber, but when there is no supply of good brass, I wont by a new gun in that caliber.
I guess I have to look for a 9,3 x 74r, this is in the opposite end of the spectrum of "hard to reload" calibers.
I assume that the ballsistics would be very similar also.
If it was me I would much prefer a .375 Flanged Mag to a 9.3x74mm Rimmed. Having just said that I am having a 9.3mm double (a Tikka) delivered soon but hope to trade it in one day on a side-by-side .375.
The .375 is more traditional.
Also the .375 will be legal in many places on big five animals where a 9.3mm will not.
Maybe less important to you in Europe, but .375 projectiles would be easier to get than 9.3 mm ones ie outsde of Europe.
I am an optimist and would search for cases somewhere. At the moment I am using Bertram brass for my .450 no2.
Just like with bolt actions the 9.3mm and .375's make versatile rifles that can be used on medium AND large game.

Mike ScottWestley Richards sells loaded 375 Flanged Magnum ammo (along with some others). Midway has brass and dies.
