ManCannonScope for M70 Classic 375 H&H
I've got my eye on a M70 Classic SS 375 H&H and I'm trying to find a scope. I've read numerous posts with suggestions, but one thing that I'm curious about is tube length. The Leupold 1.75-6 has an "E" version that makes it long enough to mount. Their website does not make mention of this scope. Midwayusa says all these scopes have the extra 3/4" for mounting. My question is how difficult will it be to find a scope to fit the action? Will most fit, or will I only find a few. Right now I'm torn between the Nikon MG 30mm 1.5-6 and the Leupold 1.75-6. Any experiences with either of these? This will be a secondary rifle for an upcoming hunt and my go-to rifle for all other North American hunts. Thanks.
I have the Leupold 1.75 x 6 on a Model 70 375 and if fits and works well. My buddy has the 2.5 x 8 on his with the same result.

ManCannonWhat kind of mounts (Low, Med, High) do you use for the Leupold 1.75-6x? I'm wanting to put on a set of Talley QD's and just wondering on the size.

AtkinsonI like a 1.5x5, a 1x4 or a fixed 3X on my .375s...I see little need for more scope power..I also use Talley QDs. I can use the lows with the above scopes. I like the scope down on the receiver.
I have a 1-4 leupold but would be very contented to have a 2-7 vari x 11 leupold to make it a little more versatile.
