Re: Model 70 Stainless Synthetic 375??
John,

not that I am aware of however I have heard the best finish is "black Chroming" Laurona use it on there shotguns and it is supposed to be excellent. I would have a few of my rifles "black chromed" if at all possible.

GG,

I had it blued by DRC in Arlington Texas 817-783-6099.

It is a chemical blueing process made especially for stainless and costs around $100.00

Couldn't tell you if anyone is doing this down under but I'd love to come to Australia and try my .375 out on A water buffalo.

Jason,
Robars NP3, is that some kind of surface treatment or? How do you apply it?

Surestrike,
yeah I know I was a fool to leave it wet in the case but sometimes things happen and you don't have time to deal with it.. There have been absolutely no abuse to the gun, brand new out of the box. So my guess was that there had been some kind of machining flaws where those dents showed up?

Can you tell me about the blueing on your SS .375? Is it a chemical blue? Who does it etc?

Thanks.
