OK, I guess you just got volunteered to test it out with full and regulate the loads to the gun. I hope to hear that it was easy as pie. I don't need any complicated new toys at this point. I like 'em simple. Ya know-simple things for simple minds. [Big Grin]

PC,

I dont know what the go was this one at Mick Smiths, I havent actually seen it, just saw it advertised in the Australian Shooter, unless they have it confused with a U/O maybe [Confused] confused confused as far as the whole pressure thing goes, if they are chambering them in 30/06, why wouldnt they handle stout loads in 45/70, but then again taking into account rearward thrust might make a different story, like Con says, even factory loads will have plenty of clout for the majority of people hunting Sambar, pigs and the odd Roo [Wink]

We'll all find out in due time. When the first guy gets the first one, he will crow all over the place about it. He might become insufferable about the whole thing. [Roll Eyes] [Razz] [Razz]

WHEN i get mine... I'll be doing workup of the 45/70... then perhaps 45/120... or 450ne2..... we'll just have to see what's what on the chamers...

so, I bought myself a BP 58 cal double to hold myself over... and my youngest won't leave me be about it... so i just bought HIM one, too
