gohip2000wow! that hole in the buffalo looks massive. did it go all the way through? do you have a pick of the hole with more of the buffalo in the pic so we can get a better estimate of the wound size.

surestrikeI find the 4 Bore to be a very marginal on buffalo. You should consider using something a little more suitable. Maybe a lever gun in say,,,,, ohh.....Never

mind!

Is that a Searcy?

surestrikeSafari,
How far did your buffaloes go after being pummeled by your 4 bore?
How far away were they when you shot them?
Where were you hunting?
Oh, Damn! That's a Big'n! Looks like it ought to take 3 men and a small boy to carry that!

SAFARIKIDOK,I tipped him WELL!....No other pics of the buff hole from a distance....It did not go all the way through as I broght the Wrong slugs with me,the .025 Unbonded jackets vrs the .065 Bonded jackets(a bad error on my part as they came apart)One buff went down(after he was first lifted off his feet a tad!) and the other ran a short distance,damage was immense,but the bullets were fragamented due to using the "cheap" ones by mistake!Next time!...I was
in Tanzania and shots were under 40 yds in range....

AtkinsonThat be an impressive rifle, the buff went 40 yards before going down, so how far did you go before going down! :jumping;
just looking at it gives me cold chills! but it certainly is a beautiful rifle...
