Nicely executed, to say the least.

Is the feeding issue more related to box geometry (not wide enough) than the feed rails?

I wish I still had that Garbi shotgun to trade.

nice rifle, needs work on the feed rails to be worth the money. Might make a good doner stock for a 416 Remington but the feed rails might still need work. Another action could be used and turn the rifle back to a 375 H&H. DGR's with feeding problems are a sticking point for me.

Someone like mark Penrod could get it going for less than $300, I bet. Sounds like a follower problem to me.

Goen's builds beautiful rifles. The feeding can be resolved. I don't see any cross bolts though, I wonder if they are internal?

A 404 with a barrel lug wouldn't need any if the wood were right.
