The stock of the CZ Safari Magnum goes onto the barreled action using three screws. Is there any particular order of tightening them? I noticed that the ease with which I can operate the magazine latch depends on the tightening of the screws. Does that indicate some stress on the stock or action by the screws? I also noticed that the two screws that go into the action had come very loose, while the screw that goes into the block on the barrel was still pretty tight.
Hmmm... maybe I should give bedding some reconsideration

Frans,
You knew that title would get some attention, eh?
Sounds like you have a high spot somewhere between the main action screws. It is flexing the action and/or floorplate when the screws are tight.
You need to glass bed.
Hi there
You definitely have a bedding problem. Glassbedding is the easiest solution to fix it -- make sure that you do NOT tighten the screws when you do this (or you will have hump-shaped glass bedding!).
Finger tight on the guard screws only until the glass is hard!
