Dave BushStupid bullet question?
I am really hopeful that the ATF will reverse course and let Barnes start making solids again. However, it has been months and we still have no word. If Barnes loses its' appeal, the definition of "armor piecing bullet" could easily be expanded to include most of all the homogenous solids, including CEB, Woodleigh Hydros, and even the copper clad steel jacketed bullets from Woodligh and Hornady. If the worst happens, where would we go from here? Solid copper solids or perhaps something like the Barnes Busters, solid copper jacket with a hard cast lead core?

GeorgeSEveryone will have to move up to .458, since th BATFE has (currently) exempted these from scrutiny.
I think the basis for the 'scrutiny' is contrived, and Barnes has the resources to get the exemption extended to all monolithics.

BaxterBJust so you know the Attorney General is the one who gets to define Sporting Use in regards to this whole thing. Now, for a clarification as to what our current Attorney General, Eric Holder has to say about this, let's go to an oder video tape from when Holder was just a US Attorney and listen to what he has to say about guns etc...
Roll tape...
Pay special attention at 3:09 and on...
