Just wanted to thank you fellows for the info, I went with 78 grs. of RL 15 with 400 gr Barnes X bullets & I am getting 7/8 - 1 1/8 groups! I am mighty happy with this loading & not going to try anything else. It's good enough for the girls I go with. Thanks & Regards Mike

Antonio and I used that exact load on 4 buffalo in the Selous and it is excellent.I used barnes solids too with the same load and it was equally accurate and shot within 2in. of the X bullets at 100yds. I would caution you however that barnes bullets in this cal/load will shoot through a buffalo at almost any angle. Particularly important where herds are involved.
