This thing has been around for a real long time as George points out. Recoil doesn't look bad at all! About the same as a ultralight (14lb) .50BMG. The Mcmillan target stock and Benchrest set-up and shooting position all combine to result in the worst possible recoil management situation. I like the big hole at the muzzel though.-Rob
