jsl3170cz 550 375
Gents:
I have my CZ 550 375 sitting around staring at me. It came with 2 crossbolts from the factory and has nice grain flow through the wrist. It isn't bedded or anything. Is this rifle safe to shoot with just the crossbolts re-inforcing it?

Rodney H.{500Jeffery}If it is the factory stock that came with it, then I would not worry about. But adding the bedding isn't a bad idea either. My CZ 550 in .416Rigby has held up without crossbolts or bedding, but then I just sent it off to be rebarrelled so stock up grades are in order.
Rodney.

jkingrphMine is a slightly earlier model, no crossbolts, and I have not have had any problems. I recently glass bedded it but have not had a chance to shoot it since then.

jsl3170no problems with brass as of today. it was a little rough and gritty feeling but that seems to be standard for cz rifles out of the box.
