ConIf there's a tougher model Leupold then the fixed 2.5x ... I'll go heee.
This is the scope recommended for the 'real rifles'. It'll be just fine!
Cheers...

Michael RobinsonI use one on my .500 A-Square and it has stood up so far with no problems. Light and tough.

BaxterBThey are all kept to the same standards as to handling recoil. No need to have a second thought.

505EDHey 700 nitro,
Did you ever get your 505 Breeding rifle? I love to see a pic of it when he gets done. Ryan does a great job on his rifles. he had to wipe a few of them down after I got thru fingering them at SCI.

fredj338I had one for a backup on my 404jeffery. Very solid scope. BTW, scopes do withstand recoil diff. Bigger scopes take more of a pounding. The little 2.5x is pretty light, less to knock about internally. It may be too short for your #1 though.

bigdoggy700I knew you had been working a lot of hours. I have been in contact with a buddy of yours and we are swapping 2 bore info. John Collier has contacted me several times and we have talked quite a bit. Good luck with setting up the elephant hunt. I thinks its wise to do a multiple while you are over there.

BlankI have the same scope on my Ruger #1 450/400 and love it. Only have a hundred rounds through it so far, but it is performing great. Getting ready for August 2009 ele/buff hunt with it.
