Prefit pad for Blaser R93?
Hi everyone. I have a Blaser R93 with 3 barrels 6.5x55 with silencer (legal here in Norway) 300wsm and 375 H&H. Love to shoot it! I have a synthetic model called Timber, with phoney wood lamel... I had the stock rubberized , and I like it much better now!

I have installed a Pachmayr Decellerator pad on my CZ602 in 458 Lott, and would really like something simmilar on my Blaser. The pad on the Blaser is a flimsy slip-on thing, and there are no screws used = no way to fit a Limbsaver for instance. I have read on the African Hunting forum that some hunters have filled their stocks with foam and hardwood sticks in order to be able to fasten a replacement pad. However, I would prefer not to increase the weight, and wonder if there are aftermarked prefit pads available?
Thanks

Some of the R3 Pads fitted to Remingtons are
Glued onto the stocks and these are made by Limbsaver.

You could try and get hold of these.

Thanks 500N. Would mean that I have to cut the Blaser stock though, as it has this edge towards the end that the original pad slips on to.

Not sure as I have never seen a Blaser Butt without the pad.

I would say you would be able to modify one or other to make it work.

Putting a limbsaver on is not going to detract from the Blaser IMHO.

If yu can post a photo of the Blaser "edge" you are talking about, this would help.
